raspberries.
She grows them in her garden and goes to great lengths to protect them from insects and birds.

shame her into finding different stagewear after he's
looked at the same outfits up to three years running.

every telephone number she's ever had, what city she
performed in on this date last year, and the birthday of
everyone in her elementary school class.

listen to everything and it hurts your ears."
- Is a gourmet cook.
- Likes to eat creamed corn out of the can.
- Grew up in a three-bedroom house in a family with four kids. Her mom was a
secretary, her dad worked in a factory, and they managed to get three kids
through college. Today all four are successful professionals. Suzy received a
bachelor's degree in metalsmithery from Illinois State University.
- Was a cheerleader all through junior high and high school, but her high school
football team did not win a single game during her entire career.
- Was homecoming queen.

had bruises on the top of her legs from marching with a snare drum banging
against her.
- Has one extremely harsh critic: her four year old, Ben. His most seething review:
"Mommy, please don't yodel."
